About Us

The New Milford Elks Lodge #2290 sits at 1 Patrolman Ray Woods Drive, a street named in honor of a fallen officer, which tells you something about the values this place carries. Since earning its charter, this lodge has served as one of Bergen County's steadiest gathering spots, not because it markets itself aggressively, but because the people here show up, year after year, for their community.

Step inside and you'll find a clean, well-kept banquet hall that members and guests consistently praise for its spacious layout, ample parking, and the kind of organized hospitality that makes hosting an event feel effortless. Across the parking lot, a playground with jungle gyms and swings makes it a genuinely family-friendly destination, something you won't find at most event venues.

The lodge holds a 4.5-star rating across dozens of reviews, earned through birthday parties, community fundraisers, and member gatherings. The people who run this place take real pride in what they've built, and that comes through every time the doors open.

What We Offer

Lodge #2290 offers a full-sized banquet hall available for private events including birthday parties, anniversaries, graduation celebrations, and community fundraisers. The hall is regularly praised for its cleanliness, size, and easy accessibility, with a large parking lot that takes the stress out of hosting a crowd.

Beyond event rentals, the lodge runs a full calendar of Elks membership activities, including charitable programs, community outreach, and the fraternal traditions that define the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks nationwide. Members gain access to a network of more than 2,000 lodges across the country, plus local camaraderie that's genuinely hard to replicate.

The outdoor space adjacent to the lodge adds a bonus that few venues can match: a green field and playground that makes post-event time for families with kids feel natural and relaxed rather than an afterthought.

"Had my daughter’s first birthday and baptism party here and was so happy with everything! The space itself is clean, the bathrooms are nice and clean and Marcia goes out of her way to put in a baby changing station (like an actual nice one) in the women’s bathroom which she ended up falling asleep in so I rolled it on the dance floor so she technically wasn’t missing anything. Cold prep area is right next to parking spot from exit so it’s super easy to bring everything in. Marcia was awesome from start to finish, communication throughout the entire time was always quick and efficient. Will definitely come back to have another event."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
